Welcome to the Scottish Mid-Amateur Championship

Welcome to the Scottish Mid-Amateur Championship, a revival of the championship starting again in 2025. Designed for passionate golfers over the age of 30 in Scotland, this championship celebrates the spirit of the game across some of countries finest courses.

The tournament features both a strokeplay, “The McAlpine” and a matchplay, “The Hutcheon” competition. These events are World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) counting events.
